
Representative Steve Kagen was elected to represent the 8th district of Wisconsin in 2006. He is a physician who is triple Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and Diagnostic Laboratory Immunology. Kagen is a champion of access to affordable health care for all Americans. He has co-sponsored the Pharmaceutical Market Access and Drug Safety Act and the Medicare Prescription Drug Price Negotiation Act of 2007. He serves on the Agriculture Committee and Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Kagen was born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin, where he still lives with his wife Gaye. They have four children.
