Russ Feingold

Senator Russ Feingold has been one of the Senate's most respected voices on domestic and foreign policy since 1992. Feingold is well known for his work on campaign finance issues, co-writing the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act in 2003. He continues to advocate for restoring fiscal discipline in Congress and reducing the federal deficit, authoring the "Pay-As-You-Go" rule to enforce limits on federal spending and earning himself the Concord Coalition's "Deficit Hawk Award" ten times. Feingold cast the only vote in the Senate against the USA Patriot Act and continues to lead the fight to protect the civil liberties. He currently serves on the Judiciary Committee, Foreign Relations Committee, Budget Committee and Intelligence Committee. Feingold has two daughters, Jessica and Ellen and is a member of Beth Hillel Temple in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
