February 2009 Chapter Meeting

The Denver Chapter of the National Jewish Democratic Council met on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Temple Emanuel. Professor Shaul M. Gabbay spoke to the group on several subjects. Professor Gabbay explained the Israeli election process in detail and how they go about building coalitions. Discussion then turned to American relations with Israel and the perceptions many Americans have that favor the Palestinians. Various methodologies were given to guide us in presenting the truth to our friends and others with emphasis on the importance of being consistent in reminding people of how and why Israel was formed.
