Representative Barney Frank has served the 4th Massachusetts District since 1981. He is a strong advocate of First Amendment issues and protector of individual liberties, ranging from medical marijuana to online gambling. Frank is the founder of the National Stonewall Democrats and a national leader on issues concerning sexual orientation. He is a strong supporter of Israel and a peaceful, two-state solution in the Middle East. As chairman of the Financial Services Committee, Frank has tremendous influence on many legislative issues. He currently lives in Newton, Massachusetts.
