In JTA’s article about Representative Robert Wexler’s (D-FL) retirement, NJDC President David A. Harris told JTA that Wexler will remain a presence in Washington in his new role as president of the Center for Middle East Peace and Economic Cooperation.

Harris said of Wexler:

[Wexler] has a deep and lasting commitment to the State of Israel and assuring a lasting and secure peace for Israel. This move is a testament to how deep his convictions run.
