After my last post about terrorist fan pages on Facebook, here’s a more positive post about the usage of social networking sites:
It seems like there is no aspect of our lives websites like Twitter can’t (or won’t) reach—according to The Jerusalem Post, you can now tweet your prayers to the Western Wall. Someone will print your message and place it in the Wall.
While this service certainly detracts from the personal nature of penning a note and slipping it into the Wall, it is definitely an innovation for people who lack the ability to travel to the Wall themselves. If you don’t tweet, prayers can also be sent via fax or email, as before.
