Social Networking Helps Jewish Community

The Baltimore Jewish Times published a cover story today about how social networking sites are helping the Jewish community communicate and raise awareness about everything from social events to social issues. The article used the National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) as an example of a Jewish organization being active on twitter. NJDC, like a number of other major Jewish groups, has been using sites like Twitter and Facebook to promote ourselves and connect with other Jews. We’ve had a lot of success with it and we are looking forward to more. You can follow us on Twitter under @NJDC and please join the discussion.
