As readers of this blog know, NJDC was involved in a number of events over the last few days. Our brunch with Martin Indyk, Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Director of the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institute, was widely attended and lead to two mentions here and here in JTA and a couple of posts in Politico. The most extensive reporting of this event was from Josh Rolnick of the Neurotic Democrat blog where he posted, "Indyk: Jews 'Have a Responsibility to Get Behind' Obama," and "Yarrow: 'Light One Candle.'"

NJDC's event with Governor Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas and John D. Podesta, Co-Chairman of The Obama-Biden Transition Project, was a closed event, but was briefly alluded to in The New York Jewish Week and  The Jerusalem Post.

On Monday, NJDC sponsored an event with eight other Jewish organizations for the Jewish Communal Inaugural Reception. Here are a few good run-downs and photos of the event from The New York Jewish Week, Forward, JTA, and JTA's photo-blogging.

(In addition to these events, yours truly saw many from our community at the Impact Film Fund/"The Great Schlep" party Sunday night, Arianna Huffington's pre-inauguration event on Monday, and the Home States Ball last night.)
