Thanks to a weekend-long internet campaign led by the Jewish Internet Defense Force (JIDF) and MK Avi Dichter (Kadima), people can no longer “fan” Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah on Facebook.
JIDF sent “action alerts” to approximately 100,000 people via social networking sites and email, urging them to press Facebook to enforce its policy of removing content that is “fake, hateful or threatening to others, or that represents or promotes recognized terrorist organizations.”
Facebook also removed a fan page for Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas’ prime minister.
