NJDC Lauds Obama Role in Middle East Peace

Today, David A. Harris, President of the National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC), released the following statement:

President Barack Obama is doing the right thing to pursue peace while bearing in mind Israel’s security needs. The only way to successfully accomplish this goal is to bring the parties together—as he did today.

These important meetings are particularly timely, as the Jewish community joins in prayers for peace during this High Holiday season.

NJDC lauds the active role played by the President and his administration in advancing this critical process.
