JTA has posted the new fact sheet from NJDC about the state of the U.S.-Israel relationship. JTA writes:
The speeches by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel ‘illuminate the close, cooperative relationship and wide agreement between these leaders, while exposing as a myth the supposedly wide gaps that conservative commentators have suggested exist between them,’ in a document the NJDC is sending to key Jewish and Capitol Hill leaders. Included are both leaders’ quotes on Iran, Netanyahu’s thank-you to Obama for opposing the Goldstone Report, and Emanuel’s talk of the importance of Israel’s security.
