In anticipation of President-elect Barack Obama’s victory, the National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) booked a block of rooms at the Washington Marriot at Metro Center for Inauguration Week. A few rooms are still available.

"NJDC was sufficiently bullish on President-elect Barack Obama’s chances that we booked a block of rooms at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center as a benefit to our supporters,” said Marc R. Stanley, NJDC Chairman. “With Inauguration Day a week away, very few local hotel rooms are still available. NJDC provides a rare opportunity to still book a hotel room in downtown Washington, DC.”

The Washington Marriott at Metro Center is the ideal downtown Washington, DC hotel with convenient access to all of DC's famous sites. Situated adjacent to the DC’s Metrorail system, guests of this Washington, DC hotel have easy access to the National Mall, the Smithsonian museums and a variety of other area attractions.

The cost, inclusive of all taxes and fees, is $5,000. For more information on the available hotel rooms, please contact Melissa Kaplan at (202) 216-9060 or by email.
