Healthcare Critics “Exposed”

Bob Cesca on Huffington Post published a blog on some of the more outrageous attacks facing President Barack Obama’s healthcare plan.

Cesca includes incidents of Republican pundits consciously using the word “experiment” when discussing the healthcare plan to make viewers at home uncomfortable. He noted pundit Glenn Beck who suggested on his radio show that healthcare reform is actually Obama’s secret plan to implement reparations for African Americans.

Cesca’s conclusion is that the arguments against reform “are easily shot down…inadvertently endorse the most positive aspects of healthcare reform, or… are just insane.” The blame for these arguments,

Cesca writes lies solely with the insurance industry.

“The private healthcare industry is buying whatever scares people. Whatever confounds the facts. Whatever kills healthcare reform and the public option by a thousand cuts. Whatever works.”
