Hillary Clinton Job Approval Ratings Soars

A new CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll shows that seventy-one percent of people questioned approve of how Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is handling her job.

Keating Holland, CNN’s Polling Director noted that, “Nine in 10 Democrats approve of Clinton—that’s no surprise.But by a 50 percent to 43 percent margin, Republicans also think she is doing a good job at the State Department. That’s an interesting result for a polarizing figure like Clinton.”

According to the CNN polling, Clinton’s approval rating is 10 percentage points higher than what Condoleezza Rice, had back in March 2005, two months into her tenure as Secretary of State.
