Firm U.S. Support for Israel at U.N.

Reuters is reporting that President Barack Obama’s administration will continue supporting Israel at the United Nations.

There had been unwarranted speculation that the U.S. will veto on resolutions that could harm Israel, was in jeopardy. However, Reuters quoted Israeli U.N. Ambassador Gabriela Shalev as saying, “We were told explicitly [by the US] that there are no consultation and no discussions at all within the administration in this direction.”
