Today, Ira Forman posted a piece on the Huffington Post titled, "Petition to NBC: Stop Helping Coulter Sell Her Books."
Ira begins with the following.
On "Hannity & Colmes" Ann Coulter revealed that she will appear on NBC's "Today" show on January 6, 2009 to promote her newest book, "Guilty: Liberal 'Victims' and Their Assault on America." Once again, a respectable, mainstream outlet is giving legitimacy to an unreasonable and highly offensive "commentator" and author, Ann Coulter.

I find it very offensive to have Ann Coulter appear on a mainstream channel. She is a divisive influence in this country, little different from the McCarthy that I remember as a young man. She is incapable of reasoned dialog with those who differ from her—her whole approach is scapegoating.
We have had enough of that in our history without providing a platform for a modern-day McCarthy especially at a time when we need to come together to solve the enormous problems facing our nation. For her to imply that all our troubles can be blamed on liberals when Americans suffering through tough times may be susceptible to scapegoating, is irresponsible, inflammatory, and, if I may say, unAmerican.
PLease cancel her appearance.
