On Friday, NJDC condemned the publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Times for suggesting that Israel assassinate President Barack Obama in his most recent column. Our comments helping to contextualize this unfortunate event received international media attention and added to the building pressure on AJT’s owner and publisher Andrew Adler to resign, which he did today. The National Jewish Democratic Council described the comments as ‘despicable.’
