Build Your Own Israeli Government Coalition

There is a great new tool on YNet that allows you to build and rebuild your own Israeli Government Coalition. It’s a wonderful resource, but it’s all in Hebrew.

Here’s the translation:

Orange - Kadima

Light blue - Likud

Purple - Yisrael Beiteinu (Israel our Home, Lieberman’s Party)

Red - Avodah (Labor)

Brown - Shas

Gray - United Torah Judaism

Green - National Union

Turquoise - Hadash (Communist Party)

Yellow - United Arab List

Light green - Bal’ad (Arab Party)

Dark blue - Meretz

Orange/red - Judaism our home

In white, right before the dark blue section where the parties are placed it says, “your coalition” and then the number of “members.”

When you hit 61 there is a short audio clip and it says, “it’s possible to build this government.” Sometimes, when you put together incompatible parties, such as Meretz and Shas, it comes up with an error because the coalition “doesn’t pass the political test.”

The blue button on the left reads, “reset.”
