The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) congratulates our dear friend, Susan Turnbull, on her nomination by Governor Martin O’Malley to serve as Chair of the Maryland Democratic Party. As Maryland enters the 2010 election cycle, Turnbull will be a great asset as she is both an experienced political organizer and a terrific fundraiser. Turnbull’s recent success as Democratic National Committee Vice Chair contributed to strong Democratic victories across the nation. O’Malley could not have made a better choice to lead the Maryland Democratic Party at this important time.
