Thank President Barack Obama for standing by his commitment and withdrawing the U.S.‘s participation from Durban II.

President Obama needs to hear from the Jewish community about this important action.

Click here to send the President your thanks.

Here’s the text:

Dear President Barack Obama:

As a member of the Jewish community, I am writing to applaud your sound judgment and standing by your commitment to have the U.S. boycott the U.N.‘s conference on racism (Durban II). I am proud that the U.S., along with Australia, Canada, Germany, Holland, Israel, and Italy, has boycotted the conference. This sends a strong message that this conference should not serve as a platform for offensive and anti-Semitic views.

The issues of racism and discrimination must be addressed in a proper and constructive manner. Regretfully, this conference has begun to mirror the Durban I conference and is once again serving as a platform for hate and anti-Israel propaganda. By allowing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of Iran, an opportunity to address the conference with his hateful anti-Israel rhetoric, the conference has made a mockery of its purported goal to fight for human rights and end racial discrimination around the world.

I commend you and your administration for maintaining a strong and consistent policy regarding the U.S.’s Durban II attendance and refusing to participate in a conference overlaid with anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment.

Please support Israel in every way you can! Do not divide it up into two states.
