“Lieberman Knocks Cheney: ‘We’re Not Less Safe’”

Former Vice President Dick Cheney has made no secret that he thinks, “the U.S. has become less safe since Barack Obama became President.” That is ridiculous. Since his time in office, Cheney is increasingly marginalizing himself as standing on a fringe ideological position.

Senator Joe Lieberman rebuked Cheney head on when he said, “We’re not less safe…Our guard is up. In fact, I’d say that when it came to Afghanistan, obviously, this Obama administration has put more resources into the fight against terrorism than had previously been the case.”
