Collector of Hitler Paraphernalia Again Hosting Rubio Fundraiser

After missed votes and media backlash for his fundraisers, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), a contender for the GOP presidential nomination, is once again making headlines for his support from Harlan Crow, who collects Adolf Hitler paraphernalia. Jewish Insider’s Jacob Kornbluh reports that Crow is among the hosts of a Rubio fundraiser scheduled for Jan. 6 at the home of Dallas businessman and former Texas Rangers owner, Tom Hicks.

Jewish donors listed as hosts include Nathan Mitzner, Eric Axel, Eric Green and David Veeder.

Crow owns two paintings by Hitler and a signed copy of Hitler’s “Mein Kampf,” among other historical items displayed at his home in Dallas. Rubio came under fire for attending a fundraiser at Crow’s residence on the eve of Yom Kippur. “It is astounding that the presence of these items that represent horror for millions of Jews the world over would not stop Rubio or anyone on his team in their tracks when planning this event,” DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said at the time.

While the GOP would be quick to call out any questionable donor a Democrat would have around, GOP leaders appalling are silent on this one. Given the strong media backlash on the eve of Yom Kippur, we are shocked that once again Rubio is attending a fundraiser co-hosted by Harlan Crow.
